Twitter has just announced a new feature for businesses on its platform: Twitter Blue for Business. This new feature allows businesses to verify and distinguish themselves, as well as their affiliated individuals, businesses, and brands. With Twitter Blue for Business, businesses can link any number of their affiliates to their account and have them display a small badge of the parent company’s profile picture next to their blue or gold checkmark.
This new feature allows businesses to create networks within their own organizations on Twitter, including leadership, brands, support handles, employees, or teams. It also allows for verification and official linking of affiliated accounts based on a list provided by the parent business. Twitter has not yet announced criteria, pricing, or the process for this feature, but has stated that it will share updates as they become available.
Twitter Blue for Business is currently being piloted with a select group of businesses, with plans to roll it out to more businesses who wish to subscribe next year. This new feature, brought about by the recent acquisition of Twitter by Elon Musk, aims to provide valuable benefits for businesses and help them better connect with their audience on the platform.
We will continue to update you on any new criteria, pricing, or processes as they become available. Make sure to follow us on our socials so you don’t miss a thing!
