From Micro-LED and Samsung Neo QLED TVs to monitors and lifestyle screens, Samsung electronics has today unboxed its 2021 TV lifestyle TVs, monitors, and soundbars at its virtual Unbox & Discover event.
MICRO LED TVs
With superb brightness, deep blacks, and breathtaking image quality, Samsung’s MICRO LED technology offers a groundbreaking viewing experience that lasts. Its inorganic LEDs help prevent burn-in and ensure the screen stays vibrant over its lifetime.
Samsung has introduced the power of MICRO LED technology in a beautiful edge-to-edge screen design, with no need for professional assembly and installation. MICRO LED is available in 110’’ and 99’’ sizes globally beginning at the end of March; an 88’’ size is launching soon, and a 76’’ way later.
MICRO LED can become 4 screens in one. Samsung says with its 4Vue (Quad View), consumers can watch up to four sources of content simultaneously. MICRO LED brings true-to-life picture quality at an enormous scale.
Samsung Neo QLED
Samsung also announced the Samsung Neo QLED which is made possible by their new Neo Quantum Processor and new Quantum Mini LEDs. “At just 1/40th the size of conventional LEDs, Quantum Mini LEDs allow for ultra-fine light control. With deep blacks, bright lights, and upscaling technology smarter than any Samsung TV has ever offered,” Samsung said in a statement.
Led by the flagship Samsung QN90A, Samsung Neo QLED and QLED offer cutting-edge capabilities that make them a phenomenal companion to next-gen gaming consoles. In addition, Samsung Neo QLED and QLED run 4k at a silky-smooth 120 frames per second (FPS), and a low 5.8ms response time.
Lifestyle TVs
Samsung also announced a bunch of screens in the Lifestyle TV category designed for every consumer and every space in and outside the home.
The Samsung Frame
Designed to sit like an art print on the wall, this ultra-slim TV is built to match your decor. Samsung has announced that you can now add modular shelving to the TV’s sides, turning into something far more practical.
The Samsung Serif
This is a free-standing unit that sits on slim legs designed with the spike in families watching TV together in mind. The Serif will now rotate a full 180 degrees to match your phone’s dimensions since it supports streaming content from your phone.
The Samsung Terrace
Samsung also announced the company’s first outdoor television. The Terrace will be IP55-grade resistant to water and dust. Samsung says a 75-inch model designed to be viewed under direct sunshine will be unveiled later in the year.
