OnePlus has unveiled its latest flagship smartphones, the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R globally. The devices showcase significant improvements in battery life, camera capabilities, and processing power, with both models featuring massive 6,000mAh batteries.
The flagship OnePlus 13, first launched in China last October comes in three variants, with the top-tier 24GB RAM + 1TB storage model. It features a 6.82-inch Quad-HD+ ProXDR display with an impressive 4,500 nits peak brightness and runs on the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the OnePlus 13’s Hasselblad-tuned triple camera system, featuring a Hasselblad camera system–main 50MP (1/1.4-inch Sony LYT-808 sensor, f/1.6 aperture, OIS: Optical Image Stabilisation) + 50MP 114 degree ultra-wide camera (with 1/1.27-inch Samsung JN1 sensor, f/2.2, 3.5cm macro) + 50MP periscope telephoto camera (with 1/1.95-inch LYT600 sensor, f/2.6, OIS, 3x optical zoom, 6x in-sensor zoom, up to 120x digital zoom) with LED flash. It can record up to 8K videos. On its front, it features a 32MP camera (with Sony IMX615 sensor, ƒ/2.4). This camera can record 4K video at 30 fps (frames per second).
The more affordable OnePlus 13R comes equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and a 6.78-inch full-HD+ LTPO display. Its triple camera setup includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 2X zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera.
Both phones run Android 15-based OxygenOS 15.0 and feature advanced connectivity options including Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. While the OnePlus 13 boasts IP68+ IP69 certification for dust and water resistance, the 13R comes with IP65 splash resistance.
The OnePlus 13 is available in Arctic Dawn, Black Eclipse, and Midnight Ocean colors, while the 13R comes in Astral Trail and Nebula Noir options. Both devices continue OnePlus’s tradition of including the alert slider and feature in-display fingerprint sensors.
