The Nothing Phone 2 is set to launch on July 11th, and we finally have our first proper look at the upcoming device. The phone looks a lot like its predecessor, with a transparent back and a unique Glyph lighting system. However, there are some subtle changes that have been made to the design.
The LED around the camera is now split into two, and the main LED strip that goes around the wireless charging coil is now split into six individual strips. This gives the phone a more refined look, and it also allows for more customization options.
Users will be able to program the LEDs to do a variety of things, such as indicate the phone’s battery level, show notifications, or even play music. Nothing has also said that third-party apps will be able to take advantage of the Glyph lighting system, so we can expect to see some creative uses for it in the future.
In addition to the design changes, the Nothing Phone 2 is also expected to come with some upgraded hardware. The phone is rumored to have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, a 50MP main camera, and a 120Hz display.
Overall, the Nothing Phone 2 looks like a promising device. It has a unique design, a powerful processor, and a versatile camera system. We’ll have to wait until July 11th to see how it performs, but it’s definitely one to watch.
