iPhone 13 May Support 25W Fast Charging

Remember the portless iPhone rumors? guess they were just that! The new iPhone 13 models are around the corner, as a matter of fact, a new report last week named the release date as 14th September, now, more details of features on the new iPhones like 25W fast charging support have emerged.

The new iPhones will support fast charging up to 25W, compared to 20W for the iPhone 12. While in theory, you should be able to charge the iPhone 13 device’s battery more quickly than at present, in practice the difference may not be noticeable, particularly if, as expected, the iPhone 13 has a larger battery capacity.

This is yet another instance where the new charging adapters will be better than the past generation, keeping in mind Apple no longer ships its iPhones with a free charger, so users will have to buy these new adapters to get full 25W support.

Apple currently sells a 20W unit for $19 (Sh2000).

Other expected features on Apple’s next flagship include a  larger battery with their additional stamina powering new LTPO (low-temperature Polycrystalline oxide), 120Hz ProMotion displays on iPhone 13 Pro models, and an always-on display.
