Hisa Acquired by Nigerian Investment Firm

Hisa, a leading African investment platform, has been acquired by Risevest, a US and pan-African-based investment platform. This partnership marks a significant milestone for Hisa and its customers, offering increased access to global offerings and improved product experiences.

The acquisition will allow Hisa to leverage Risevest’s resources to bring new and more exciting investment products to its customers. Additionally, Hisa plans to invest in improving app stability and user experience, providing a smoother investment journey.

The acquisition, whose value has not been disclosed but understood to be in the hundreds of millions of shillings.

The Hisa team, including its founders, will remain involved in the company’s operations. Hisa’s former CEO, Mr Eric Jackson, will now assume the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Hisa’s Finance Associate, MsLeah Njoroge, will take over as Head of Operations, under the new ownership. Regulators and stakeholders have endorsed the partnership and support Hisa’s mission.
