According to a report from DigiTimes, the Apple MacBook Pro, which runs on the yet to be announced M2 chipset, will go official on 8th March.
Also getting launched at the event might be the upcoming iPhone SE 5G and 2022 iPad Air which have already both gone into production. According to Japanese blogger Mac Otakara, both devices are getting speed bumps to A15 processors and 5G radios (except for the Wi-Fi-only iPad, of course) and the iPad will also get a 12MP ultra-wide front camera.
Apple M2 will mark the debut of the second-generation Apple Silicon processors after the company launched the quite successful M1 chipset a couple of years back. The M2 chipset will also power the new MacBook Air and other devices that are already powered by the current-generation M1 processor.
Apple has not confirmed any of the details listed above, so take the news with a hint of salt. The M2-powered MacBook Pro could take place at a later date. Instead, the company could announce the much-awaited 27-inch iMac.
