Android 14 Beta is Now Available on These Devices: Tecno, OPPO, Nothing and More

As the latest version of Android, Android 14 Beta is now available on a range of popular devices from our device-maker partners. This beta version comes with exciting new features and functionalities that users can try out before the official release.

Android 14 includes several updates to enhance productivity, performance, privacy, security, and user customization. It offers more intuitive system user interfaces, such as the new mid-display back arrow and an improved system share sheet. To strengthen users’ privacy, the system allows apps to limit visibility of specified views only to accessibility services. These days, foldable devices provide an opportunity for innovative app development. Developers are also encouraged to use Android APIs, tools, and resources provided by Google to build apps designed for large and small screens.

Android 14 Beta is available on devices from various device-maker partners. These partners will handle their own enrollments and support, and provide the Beta updates to users directly.

Google I/O was pretty quiet regarding Android 14, but a new beta dropped today for Pixel phones. OnePlus is now joining in on the fun, with the first Android 14 Beta now available for OnePlus 11. The Oppo Find N2 Flip is the first foldable to gain access to Android 14,

Getting Android 14 Beta on Your Device

The easiest way to get Android 14 on your eligible device today is through the Android Beta Program. This automated program allows you to “opt-in” to Android beta updates and install them as you would a normal system update. There are no computer or fancy tools required, and you can roll back to Android 13 any time you’d like by simply opting out.

If your device-maker partner has their own Beta program, you can follow the instructions on their Android 14 Beta site to enroll in the Beta program and download the Beta version on your device.
