Following its significant presence at Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona earlier this year, TECNO has now turned its attention to its PC offerings, unveiling new devices and AI advancements at COMPUTEX 2025 in Taipei. Headlining the announcements is the MEGABOOK S16, TECNO’s latest flagship AI PC.
MEGABOOK S16: AI Power and Sleek Design
The new MEGABOOK S16 integrates TECNO’s self-developed edge-side AI model, built on the TECNO AI platform. This allows users to leverage AI functionalities even when offline and enables seamless connectivity with other devices within the TECNO AI Ecosystem.
Key specifications and features of the MEGABOOK S16 include:
- Processor: Powered by an Intel Core i9-13900HK processor (14 cores, 20 threads, up to 5.4GHz).
- AI Acceleration: Enhanced with NPU (Neural Processing Unit) AI acceleration and advanced Arc graphics for demanding AI applications, gaming, and productivity tasks.
- Design: Features a premium all-metal design, yet weighs only 1.3 kilograms and measures 14.9mm in thickness.
- Display: A 16-inch FHD display.
TECNO AI Model Upgraded with DeepSeek-V3
In a significant software enhancement, TECNO also announced an upgrade to the TECNO AI model across its MEGABOOK AI PC series, now integrating DeepSeek-V3. This development boosts offline AI capabilities and enables comprehensive online AI searches through a “Personal GPT” function.
Beyond this, TECNO AI offers several core functionalities designed to enhance productivity and creativity, including:
- AI Gallery
- AI Meeting Assistant
- Ella AI Assistant
- AI PPT (PowerPoint generation)
- AI Drawing
All TECNO devices are also equipped with OneLeap technology for multi-screen sharing, easy file transfer, and cross-device collaboration.
TECNO’s exhibit at COMPUTEX 2025 showcased its full range of interconnected products, emphasizing its growing AI ecosystem. Other notable devices highlighted include:
- Laptops: MEGABOOK S14, MEGABOOK T14 Air, MEGABOOK T16 Pro, MEGABOOK K15S, K14S, and the MEGABOOK Mini Gaming G1.
- AI Glasses: The TECNO AI Glasses Pro and TECNO AI Glasses were featured, with live demonstrations allowing visitors to try features like real-time Live Translation via the Ella AI assistant and camera-taking capabilities.
- Smartwatches: The Watch GT with a high-end design and AI-powered watch faces, alongside the Watch Pro 3 and Watch 3 Active.
- Audio: Upgraded TWS earbuds, the TRUE 2, featuring AI ENC noise cancellation, 45dB hybrid ANC, spatial audio, and dual drivers.
- Tablets: The MEGAPAD 11, tailored for students and professionals, boasting an eye-care display.
TECNO’s showcase at COMPUTEX 2025 underscores its commitment to integrating AI across its product portfolio, from powerful PCs and smartphones to a growing range of smart wearables and accessories, aiming to create a cohesive and intelligent user experience.
