Spotify has introduced a new Listening Stats feature, designed to give users a fun and interactive way to explore their weekly music habits. The feature provides a personalized snapshot of your top artists, favorite songs, and unique listening moments over the past four weeks, all in a format that’s easy to view and share.
Available to both Free and Premium users in more than 60 markets worldwide, Spotify’s new addition is all about turning music data into storytelling. Each week, users receive a highlight that captures something special about their listening journey — whether it’s a new discovery, a milestone moment, or a reflection of their favorite artist or genre.
The Listening Stats feature also creates playlists based on your recent favorites, helping users rediscover songs they’ve loved or find new tracks inspired by their listening patterns. It’s a natural extension of Spotify’s popular personalized playlists such as Daylist, Release Radar, and Discover Weekly, giving fans more insight into how their music taste evolves throughout the year.
Spotify says this update bridges the gap between everyday listening and Spotify Wrapped, the platform’s annual recap that celebrates users’ favorite artists, songs, and genres at the end of the year.
Sharing is built into the experience, too. Users can share their weekly stats directly from the app to social media platforms such as Instagram, WhatsApp, and Twitter/X, making it easy to show off what they’ve been listening to.
