Nothing has officially launched the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite, the latest addition to its popular lineup of minimalist smartphones. Designed as an affordable entry into the Nothing ecosystem, the (3a) Lite retains the brand’s signature transparent design language while introducing efficient performance, a bright OLED display, and long-term software support.
The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite features a 6.77-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smooth visuals and vibrant colors for everyday use and entertainment. It boasts 1,300 nits of High Brightness Mode and up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness, ensuring clear visibility even under direct sunlight. The screen also supports 2160Hz PWM dimming for comfortable viewing and Panda Glass protection for added durability.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset, built for balanced performance and energy efficiency. It’s paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, delivering smooth multitasking, faster app loading, and consistent performance for daily use, streaming, and light gaming.
On the back, the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite sports a 50MP GN9 primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro lens for close-up shots. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 16MP front camera that offers clear, detailed images.

Keeping things running is a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The combination ensures reliable all-day use and quick top-ups when needed.
The device runs on Nothing OS 3.5, built on Android 15, and comes with an impressive 3 years of major OS updates and 6 years of security patches. This long-term commitment ensures that users will continue to receive updates well into the future.
Connectivity options include WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and USB 2.0. The phone also includes a Hybrid SIM slot, Mono speaker, and Essential Button for quick shortcuts. It comes with an IP54 rating, offering protection against dust and light splashes.
As expected from Nothing, the design remains a highlight. The transparent glass back reveals the phone’s minimalist internals, while a Glyph Dot sits at the bottom right, adding a unique light notification element. The device measures 8.3mm in thickness, weighs 199 grams, and is available in White and Black color options.
